Upon request of the current coaching staff the BRA has decided to provide some much need gear to help the guys out in their training regiment. The decision to purchase this gear was approved by the Board in order to insure our savings goals are still being met. After pricing the materials, it was decided to purchase the tackle bags and training cones from one of our long time supporters Front Row Outfitters. (Total Cost of Training Gear: $539).
The coaches have told me that the squad is really starting to gel and are eager to have their first cup match on Dec. 2nd against Midwestern State University.

The end of the year is quickly approaching and that means tax time is right around the corner. If you have a bit of room in your budget please help out by donating to the Baylor Rugby Association. We are a 501(c)3 Tax Deductible Charity so every dollar you give can be saved on your income taxes. The Baylor Rugby Association currently has a balance of $7,162.52 due to the generosity of each and everyone that has supported the association over the past few years. We would really like to target the $10,000 mark by the end of 2006, which would allow us better CD investment options. We are only a little over $2,800 away, this goal is very attainable through your support.

The BRA would like to thank Joel Richardson for his $250 donation. Joel is a Baylor graduate but never played at Baylor because he graduated before the team existed. He now is an active member with the Austin Huns Rugby Club. We are very happy to have Joel’s support.
