Instead of placing all of these in separate posts I decided to simply list a few things that have occurred over the past few weeks.
- Congratulations to Kenny and Brenna Johnson as they welcomed their beautiful daughter Hailey Madison on 8/28/07!
- The BURFC had two very strong wins over TxState. This was their first hit out of the season since the Alumni game. The team showed a lot of grit by squeaking out a win in the last minute of the match.
- BURFC will be attending a combination of Selects tryout and the Woodlands Tournament this weekend September 22nd.
- BURFC will be competing in the Cowtown Tournament on October 6th in Fort Worth.

After a disappointing 2006-2007 campaign, in which the team was put on probation for violation of the University Travel Policy, the team has elected a very eager and organized new crop of officers that are sure to get the team back on track. They have also shored up their faculty advisor through the addition of Mr. Ralph Sherman. He is a great addition to the BU Rugby team. That coupled with the return of Coaches Nick Lane and Jeff Reuther should be a formula for big success in the 2007-2008 campaign.

January 26th - Texas Christian University
February 2nd - Angelo State
February 16th - University of North Texas

The next Baylor Alumni Festival is quickly approaching!
Mark your calendars now for the Labor Day Weekend (Friday, August 31st through Sunday, September 2nd).
This should shape up to be the largest Alumni Game yet as the Geezers look to string together another win.
