Baylor Rugby is excited to announce the launch of a series of high performance player clinics in partnership with the Auckland Rugby Academy to be held November November 11th and 12th (two one-day clinics) at Baylor University. Academy GM Ant Strachan and HP Coach Brent Semmons will join Baylor’s Director of Rugby Mason Hering to produce a weekend of world class High Performance rugby in the heart of central Texas.
Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th will be identical clinics so there’s no reason to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The player clinic cost is $100 per attendee which includes lunch and a t-shirt.
The Coaches
Academy GM Ant Strachan
Ant played for the All Blacks from 1992-93-95 including the RWC in South Africa. He also represented Otago, Auckland & North Harbour at first class level (includes over 100 first class games) A strong High Performance background across both professional organisations, the Blues and Auckland Rugby. Has coached both club & school teams since 2010 including high performance athlete academy programmes.
HP Coach Brent Semmons
Brent played premier and first class rugby in New Zealand. His coaching career is very extensive coaching at NZ schools level winning both 15s & 7s National titles. His club and representative coaching record is exemplary including stints with both North Harbour and Auckland Teams. He has also coached professionally in Europe.
